What is a storage box?
A self storage box is a lockable space of your own inside a building with controlled access, rented by the month for whatever doesn't fit at home or in the office. Bring your things whenever you like, lock the box and come back whenever you need to: only you have access to what's inside.
At Allstorage, boxes range from 1 m², the size of a large wardrobe, to 50 m², enough for the contents of a house or a company's stock. They are about 2.5 to 3 m high, so think in volume rather than floor area: a 2 m² box holds more than it looks.
The price is monthly and depends on the size and the site. There are no promotions or seasonal prices: what you see on the site page is what you pay, insurance included.

How to rent a storage box online, step by step

Choose the site and the box
The site page lists the free boxes with their size and monthly price. If you're unsure, use the space calculator or talk to our team.
Fill in your details
Personal or company details, your Portuguese tax number (NIF) and the IBAN for the monthly SEPA direct debit, with the documents requested.
Sign the contract online
You sign the contract digitally, with nothing to print.
Make the first payment
A one-month deposit plus the pro-rata rent for the month you move in (if you move in on or after the 12th, also next month's rent), by card or bank transfer.
Get your access code
Once the payment is confirmed you receive your personal access code and can start using the box, at any time.
Rental conditions
The same for every box and every site.

How much does it cost to rent a storage box in Lisbon?
It depends on the size and the site. Right now there are free boxes from €63/month; the table above shows the lowest price for each size. Rent is monthly, VAT-exempt and there is no entry fee. At the start you also pay a deposit of one month's rent, refunded when the contract ends.
What box sizes can I rent?
Boxes range from 1 to 50 m² and are about 2.5 to 3 m high. A 1 to 3 m² box is enough for boxes and suitcases; for the contents of a two-bedroom flat, allow 6 to 12 m². If in doubt, our team will help you choose at no cost.
How do I rent a box online?
Choose the site and a free box, fill in your details, sign the contract online and make the first payment by card or bank transfer. Once the payment is confirmed you receive your access code and can use the box.
What is the minimum rental period?
One month. The contract is monthly with no lock-in: give notice by the 20th and leave at the end of that month, with no penalties.
Can I access my box at any time?
Yes, 24 hours a day, every day, with your personal access code. Every site has a lift, trolleys and 24-hour CCTV. There is no parking at the facilities.
Can I switch to a bigger or smaller box?
Yes, if a box of the size you need is free at the site: contact our team to switch. Moving your things from one box to the other is up to you.
