Who can use self storage?

Anyone or any business can use it! Individuals who need extra space during moves, renovations or to store seasonal items. Businesses for document archive, stock, equipment or office furniture. Students, collectors, e-commerce - everyone is welcome.

Can I access my box at any time?

Yes! All our units have 24-hour access, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You receive a personal access code when you hire the service, allowing you to enter your box whenever you need, day or night.

What can I store in a self storage box?

You can store almost anything: furniture, appliances, documents, clothes, sports equipment, business stock, office supplies, collections, and much more. It's not allowed to store dangerous, flammable, perishable or illegal materials.

Do you transport my belongings?

We don't offer direct transport service, but we can recommend trusted moving partners. Our units have easy vehicle access, allowing you to bring your car or van close for loading and unloading.

What is the minimum contract period?

The minimum period is 1 month. We don't require commitment! After the first month, the contract automatically renews monthly until you decide to cancel. You can rent for as long as you need.

How do I cancel the contract?

You can cancel at any time with 15 days notice. Just contact us by phone, email or through your client area. There are no penalties for early cancellation.

What payment methods do you accept?

The initial payment (deposit + pro-rata) is made by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard). Subsequent monthly payments are made automatically via SEPA direct debit from your bank account, on the contract anniversary date.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, a deposit equivalent to one month's rent is required. This deposit is returned at the end of the contract, after verification of the box and settlement of any outstanding amounts.

Are prices final?

Yes! Self storage is a pure rental contract, exempt from VAT in Portugal. The price you see is the final price - no taxes or hidden costs.

Can I pay several months in advance?

Yes, you can choose to pay quarterly, semi-annually or annually. If you prefer to make an advance payment, contact us for more information.

Are the boxes secure?

Absolutely! All our units have 24-hour CCTV surveillance, individual alarm system per box, electronic access control with personal code, and well-lit facilities. Your safety is our priority.

Are my belongings insured?

We recommend that you have insurance for your goods. Many home multi-risk insurance policies already cover goods stored in self storage. We can also recommend partners with specific self storage insurance.

Who has access to my box?

Only you have access to your box! Each box has an individual lock controlled by your personal access code. Not even our staff can access without your express authorization and presence.

Can I authorize other people to access my box?

Yes, you can authorize other people to access your box. Just contact us to add authorized users. Each authorized person will receive their own access code.

What happens in case of fire or flood?

Our facilities comply with all fire safety standards, with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and safety systems. We always recommend that you have adequate insurance for additional protection.

How do I choose the right box size?

Use our online space calculator for an estimate based on your items, or contact us. As a reference: 1-2m² for boxes and documents, 3-4m² for one bedroom, 5-8m² for a 1-2 bedroom apartment, 10-15m² for a complete house.

Can I change size after contracting?

Yes! If you need more or less space, you can request a box change at any time, subject to availability. There are no transfer costs - we help make the move.

What is the height of the boxes?

Most of our boxes are between 2.5m and 3m high, allowing efficient vertical stacking. This means you can maximize space using shelves or stacking boxes.

How does the booking process work?

The process is 100% online: 1) Choose the unit and size, 2) Fill in your details, 3) Sign the contract digitally, 4) Make payment, 5) Receive the access code. You can start using the box immediately!

Can I visit the facilities before renting?

Of course! You can visit any of our units. Contact us to schedule a guided tour, or drop by during opening hours. We'll be happy to show you around.

Do you provide packing materials?

At our units you'll find cardboard boxes, tape, bubble wrap and other packing materials available for purchase. Ask at reception about available materials.

What are customer service hours?

Our phone service operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 7pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. By email, we respond within 24 hours. Access to boxes is 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Can I receive deliveries at my box?

We don't have a parcel reception service. However, you can coordinate deliveries in person, being present at the time of delivery to receive the items and place them in your box.

What is the Client Area?

The Client Area is an exclusive online portal for Allstorage customers. Through it, you can manage all aspects of your contract autonomously, 24 hours a day. It's the most practical way to control your storage unit.

How do I access the Client Area?

You can access the Client Area through the 'My Account' button at the top of the website or directly at allstorage.pt/my-account. Enter the email used in the contract and your password. If it's your first access, you'll receive an email to set your password.

I forgot my password. How do I recover it?

On the login page, click 'Forgot password?'. Enter the email associated with your account and you'll receive a link to create a new password. The link is valid for 24 hours for security reasons.

What can I do in the Client Area?

In the Client Area you can: view your active contracts, see and download invoices and receipts, update your personal and billing information, check payment history, view your box access code, request contract cancellation, and contact support.

How do I check my invoices?

In the Client Area, go to 'Invoices' in the menu. You'll see the complete list of issued invoices with payment status. You can download any invoice in PDF by clicking the download icon. Invoices are also sent by email monthly.

Can I change my billing information?

Yes, in the 'My Details' section you can update name, address, tax number and contacts. For tax number changes on already issued invoices, contact us directly as they require credit note issuance.

How do I see my box access code?

Your personal access code is available in the Client Area, in the 'My Box' or 'Contracts' section. This is the code you use to enter the unit and access your storage. Never share this code with unauthorized third parties.

Can I cancel the contract through the Client Area?

Yes, you can request contract cancellation through the Client Area in the 'Contracts' section. Just select the 'Request Cancellation' option. Remember you must give 15 days notice and empty the box before the end date.

Currently, the Client Area is optimized for browser on any device (computer, tablet or smartphone). You can access it through your phone's browser and add a shortcut to the home screen for quick access, working like an app.

What if I'm not receiving Allstorage emails?

Check your spam or junk folder. Add comercial@allstorage.pt and noreply@allstorage.pt to your trusted contacts. If the problem persists, confirm in the Client Area that the registered email is correct or contact us.
